  • If you’ve had your initial Brow Tattoo performed outside our service, we require you to book a Brow Consultation.

This allows us to assess your brows in person, talk about your goals, and come to the most realistic outcome possible.

    BROW CONSULTATION:
$100 (Redeemable if a Brow Tattoo is booked).

    Inclusions:
    - Consultation and advice on best approach for your tattoo.
    - Brow Mapping
    - Brow Wax and Hybrid Dye to showcase potential results.

In some cases, the best approach is to have your existing tattoo removed before moving forward with another session.

If it is feasible, and if you do choose to go ahead after your Brow Consultation - you’ll need to be booked as an “initial session” to allow the appropriate amount of time for corrective work.

TATTOOING STYLES

The Ombré Tattoo Technique uses a machine to provide a soft pencilled in or tinted effect once healed.

This technique is the most similar to brow makeup, such as pencil, pomade or powder.

The fronts of the brows are shaded softer and lighter, gradually becoming more pigmented towards the tails of the brows. The boldness of this technique can be largely tailored to suit your preferences, whether that is more natural, or dramatic.

This technique is suitable for all skin types and can be altered to be more bold, or more natural.

OMBRE

MAINTENANCE:
Most clients require a touch up every 12-24 months.

NANO-COMBINATION

The Combination Tattoo Technique utilises a mix of hairstokes (nano) and shading (ombre). This allows us to create a combination of realistic hair strokes and a shaded, well-defined brow.

This technique helps to mimic the natural brow hairs in the inner brow, creating a more realistic look - whilst still providing structure and shape through the rest of the brow.

This technique is suitable for most skin types, but is not recommended for overly oily clients. It can be customised to give more dramatic, or more natural results.

MAINTENANCE:
Most clients require a touch up every 12-24 months.

  • SKINCARE:
Refrain from active skincare that will thin/sensitise the skin on your face a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your appointment. (Retinoids, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, Chemical Peels etc.)

4 weeks is the approximate time frame that your skin needs to complete a full cycle, and no longer have sensitivity from these products when undergoing a tattoo.

    Using these products without an adequate break between brow tattooing can result in;

    1. Poor pigment retention
Actives increase cell turnover, meaning your skin sheds faster. After a tattoo, this can cause the pigment to fade more quickly or heal unevenly.

    2. Blurry or patchy strokes
For nano-stokes, actives can make the skin thinner or more sensitive, which can lead to:

    • Ink spreading under the skin (blurring)

    • Patchy healing where some strokes don’t hold

    3. Increased irritation and sensitivity
Skin that’s been using actives is often more reactive. That can lead to:

    • More redness or swelling during/after the procedure

    • Higher chance of poor healing

    4. Compromised skin barrier
If your barrier is weakened, healing takes longer and results can be less crisp or predictable.

  • You will not be able to receive a cosmetic tattoo if you have used Vitamin A–based medications or products within the past six months, including Isotretinoin (commonly known as Accutane) and topical retinoids such as retinol.

Vitamin A derivatives significantly increase skin cell turnover and can thin and sensitise the skin. This can compromise the integrity of the skin during the tattooing process and negatively impact healing.

If tattooing is performed too soon after use, it may result in:

    • Increased skin fragility and risk of damage

    • Excessive irritation or prolonged healing

    • Poor pigment retention or uneven, unpredictable results

    • Higher risk of scarring

A six-month waiting period allows the skin to fully recover, ensuring it is strong, stable, and able to achieve the best possible healed result.

  • Alcohol, caffeine, Aspirin, and blood-thinning medications can all affect your blood’s viscosity and circulation, which in turn impacts your skin’s response during and after your tattoo procedure.

Consuming these substances prior to your appointment may lead to increased bleeding during the service, heightened skin sensitivity, swelling, and elevated lymph production.

As a result, this can compromise your final outcome, increasing the likelihood of reduced pigment retention, as well as patchy or blurred healed results. You may also experience a more uncomfortable or prolonged healing process.

    Recommendations:

    • Alcohol: Avoid for 24–48 hours prior

    • Caffeine: Avoid for at least 12–24 hours prior

    • Aspirin/NSAIDs: Avoid for 24–48 hours prior (unless medically necessary)

    • Blood thinners: Do not discontinue without approval from your doctor

  • Cosmetic treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers should be scheduled at least two weeks before or after your brow tattoo appointment.

These treatments can temporarily alter the structure, position, and movement of the brow area. If performed too close to your tattoo appointment, this may affect how we map and design your brows, potentially impacting symmetry and overall shape once the product has fully settled.

Additionally, both Botox and fillers can cause swelling, tenderness, and increased skin sensitivity. This can interfere with the tattooing process and may lead to:

    • Increased discomfort during the procedure

    • Less precise pigment implantation

    • Compromised healing and pigment retention

Allowing a two-week window ensures the treated area has fully settled, your skin has stabilised, and we can achieve the most accurate, long-lasting result.

  • For health and safety reasons, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on clients who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

While cosmetic tattooing is generally low risk, there is limited research on its safety during pregnancy. The procedure involves minor skin trauma and carries a small risk of infection, as well as the use of topical anaesthetics and pigments that have not been extensively studied in pregnant individuals.

Additionally, hormonal changes during pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect skin sensitivity, healing, and pigment retention, making results less predictable.

For the most predictable outcome and healed result, we suggest waiting to book your cosmetic tattoo until after ceasing breastfeeding.

  • Clients with a history of Keloid scarring are not suitable candidates for cosmetic tattooing.

Keloids are raised, thickened scars that form as a result of an overproduction of collagen during the healing process. Because cosmetic tattooing involves controlled trauma to the skin, there is a risk that the treated area may heal with excessive scar tissue rather than smooth, even skin.

If tattooing is performed on skin prone to keloid formation, it may result in:

    • Raised or uneven scarring in the treated area

    • Distortion of pigment and brow shape

    • Poor or unpredictable healed results

For your safety and to protect the integrity of your skin, we do not perform tattooing on clients with a known tendency to develop keloid scars.

PREPARATION

  • The first 24 hours after receiving your brow tattoo:

    • Every 1-3 hours, gently wipe over the brow area with a damp cotton round or fragrance free wipe to remove any lymph, and prevent scabbing and pigment loss.

    • (This only applies to the hours that you're awake).

    • You may shower and get your brows wet, but avoid exposure to water over 5 minutes in duration. Pat dry after water exposure.

After the first 24 hours have past, you’ll move into a wet-heal, as indicated in the next slide.

  • This aftercare is to commence after the first 24 hours of your brow tattoo, and cease when all peeling and flaking has finished.

    • Gently clean the brows using the provided Cleanse treatment morning and night. We suggest using an amount similar to a grain of rice, per brow.

    • After cleansing, wash off any residue with water, and pat dry.

    • After drying, apply the provided Gloss treatment. Again, using an amount similar to the size of a grain of rice, per brow.

    • No excessive sweating or exercise for 7–10 days — excess moisture can disrupt pigment retention and result in patchy healing.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure during this time to protect healing skin.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    • DAY 1-3: Brows will gradually appear darker as your skin cells begin healing.

    • DAY 3-7: Brows will begin lightly peeling and flaking, removing the darkened scab layer that has formed.

    • DAY 7-10: All peeling and flaking has occured. Your brows may feel lighter in colour as the skin continues to heal.

    • WEEK 6-8: Skin has finished healing, and final results can be observed.
At this point is when you’d be due for a touch up, if desired.

  • At weeks 6-8 after your initial brow tattoo is when the full, healed result can be observed. It’s at this point that we recommend coming in for your touch up.

WHY DO I NEED A TOUCH UP?

Brow cosmetic tattooing is a multi-step process designed to give you soft, natural, and long-lasting results. Your brows will go through stages of healing, settling, and colour change — which is why touch-ups and maintenance are an essential part of the journey.

Every client’s skin heals differently, and several factors influence whether a touch-up is required, including:

    • Skin type and condition

    • Aftercare compliance

    • Lifestyle (e.g. skincare, sun exposure, exercise)

    • Desired brow style and colour intensity

Touch-ups are not included in the initial brow tattoo price and are charged separately.

    RECOMMENDATION:

To achieve and maintain your best brows long-term, we recommend the following treatment plan:

    1. Initial Session

Your first appointment includes a full consultation, brow mapping, colour selection, and your cosmetic brow tattoo. This session creates the shape and base of your new brows.

    2. Perfecting Touch-Up (6–8 Weeks Later)

Once healed, we assess your brow retention and make any adjustments needed — such as adding depth, balance, or definition. This appointment ensures your brows heal evenly and match the agreed result.

  • Cosmetic tattooing gradually fades over time due to being metabolised by your body, affected by medications or aligments you may face, and influenced by sun exposure.

Over time, your Brow Tattoo will fade naturally, making your results lighter, less noticeable, and less crisp. This is why we recommend a colour refresh every 1-3 years, to keep your brows looking good.

Duration between refreshes varies per individual based on lifestyle, skin type, and pigment retention.

    RECOMMENDATION:

    • Touch up your brows with a “touch up session" every 1-3 years, depending on your preference and natural metabolism.
